Steve "The Reverend" LaFontaine, Lead Guitar

Steve was born and raised in the Boston area where he spent most of his high school years locked away teaching himself to play guitar. After his brother taught him some chords, Steve played along with every recording he could get his hands on. He honed his skills and started playing in bands at the age of 17. His first band—Visual Aggression—lead to the joining of a more established band on the east coast where he opened shows for some of the best names in metal: Biohazard, Nuclear Assault, Sacred Reich, Overkill, and others. Steve went on to start his own band—Hostile—of which members spawned the major label acts DropBox and Godsmack. Steve burned out on the live music scene after playing constantly for eleven years straight. He moved to California and took a break for about twelve years. Now he has the bug to play live again and the band is lucky to have him. He enjoys playing for "just pure fun, like the good old days of just hanging out and playing with no stress of wondering when we're going to get signed."
